Bao Dumplings

Description: Bao Dumplings are delicate, steamed buns filled with a savory mixture of meats, vegetables, or tofu. This Asian dish is known for its soft and pillowy texture, creating a delightful contrast with the flavorful filling.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of store-bought bao buns
  • 1/2 lb ground pork or chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons Dragon's Breath
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat.
  2. Add the cabbage, green onions, Dragon's Breath, sesame oil, hoisin sauce, ginger, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook until the vegetables are tender and the mixture is well combined.
  3. Steam the bao buns according to the package instructions.
  4. Spoon the filling into each steamed bun.
  5. Serve the bao dumplings warm, garnished with extra green, and some Dragon's Breath for dipping
