Each of the sauces has relative range since the scoville rating is based off of the hottest pepper within the sauce. Since we use fresh peppers in our sauces there is always going to be a variance from batch to batch.

Where are currently located in Warren, Rhode Island! This is our production facility - we currently do not have a brick and mortar store.

The peppers used in our sauces are sourced locally when available. It can change depending on the seasons and general availability.

Our sauces last for 2 years from production if un-opened. Once opened it needs to be refrigerated.

Keeping it easy for every order shipped from the U.S. Why would you pay more for shipping than the bottle of hot sauce you are trying to enjoy?

Simple and transparent shipping costs; we will also send you a link to the tracking info as soon as your order is ready and packed up to ship.

We offer a flat rate of $6 for all continental U.S. addresses using several different carriers based availability.

The majority of the math will be calculated at checkout BUT Taxes, duties, and customs fees change depending on your location. Please consult your country's customs agency.

Orders

Our shipping speed will vary based upon when you placed your order but in general 90% of all of our orders are shipped within 1-2 business days. Any orders placed on Sundays or the holidays will be shipped on the following business day.

If you did not get an order confirmation email, that means your order did not go through. The pending charge on your credit or debit card just means that our system attempted to charge your card. Please give it 48 hours and that charge will disappear and the money will go back on your card

For your order to go through, you must provide us with the zip-code of where you receive your credit card statements. If you supply the wrong zip-code, you order will not go through.

If you received this error message but you were still charged on your credit card, that means your order did not go through. Once an order is placed you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and instructions on how to track the order after your order has been shipped

After your order has been shipped, arrival times on all orders depend on what shipping method was chosen and where you are located.

The cut-off time for the same day shipping for Second Day and Overnight Order is 10AM Eastern Time.

Any orders placed after that time, will most likely be shipped the following business day. Also keep in mind the shipping time is based upon after the order has been fullfilled NOT when it has been placed.

Yes. We have no control over custom fees and they vary from country to country. Customers are responsible for paying all custom fees.

As long as the order has not been fulfilled this is a quick fix. In the event it has been will be request a return of the applicable items and the shipping process will start over again.

Start with one bottle of whatever sauce entices you the most. From there it depends on how fast you consume the sauce. Generally, most customers order 4 bottles at a time.

Subscription

You can update your settings any time by logging in to manage your subscription

If you are having trouble logging in, you may have checked out as guest. You can request an access link here or try signing up for a 13starshotsauce.com account using the same email you entered at checkout. 

We also send you a direct link to manage your subscription info in the reminder emails we send about your upcoming charge. Check your email for the welcome message or the reminder emails we send that you're about to be charged - you'll find the link there too!

You can skip a delivery any time by logging inand heading to the “Manage Subscription” tab to skip.

You can cancel the next auto-renew on your subscription any time! Just log in or request an access link, then select "Edit" next to the subscription you wish to cancel:

Yes! You can absolutely order a monthly hot sauce subscription for someone else. We now also offer the ability to pre-pay for 3, 6 or 12 months subscription. When checking out, just be sure to enter the recipient’s name and address in the shipping address section at checkout. 

Prepaid subscriptions may still renew after the 3, 6 or 12-month period depending on if you selected “one-time gift” or “auto-renew” when purchasing, but you can always cancel the auto-renew before you are charged again or reach out to us about switching over the billing info on a recurring subscription to the recipient’s. 

Because of the system we use to set up your recurring charge for subscriptions, free ship codes do not work with subscriptions orders. 

If you have already received a code for free US shipping on your first order, reach out to us and we can reimburse you the $6 flat rate equivalent for your first order (i.e. for prepaid subscriptions, we would cover the shipping cost equivalent of the first box).
