Phenomenal sauces!

Tried all the sauces available because I love spice but the big thing for me is flavor. I hate when hot sauces sacrifice flavor the sake of being “the hottest” and this was definitely not the case. Not only were they spicy, but they were all delicious!

Good sauce, pleased as usual

Very tasty sauce! Arrived quickly and the customer service is phenomenal. Would like to see more consistency in the heat level. I got through 1/3 of the bottle and the heat was about 3-4, mildly hot. The very next drop was insanely hot, which is what I was looking for. Then it slowly tapered down and back up again. While I did appreciate the suspense in not knowing what the next drop would be, the bottle overall seemed a bit on the mildly hot side. I did shake vigorously before each use as well.

Would absolutely buy again, this has been a goto sauce in my arsenal since I tasted it at a festival in Providence, RI a few years ago.

Since we use fresh peppers in all of our sauces the heat range will vary but usually sits in the middle of the range (600K~SHUs). The scoville units will change based on several variables. You can read more about it in our blog post here. 

Nuclear Option is Eli's sauce through and through. He made test batches from his fathers garden and would eat some of the superhot peppers fresh off the vine. 

He wanted to capture the floral and fruity notes of the Ghost Peppers and Carolina Reapers rather than just blow peoples ass off for no reason. The blend of peppers was meticulously crafted to get that right balance of fresh tasting off the vine flavor. 

We linked up with the owners of Ocean State Pepper Company and tested a lot of different superhots but none beat the flavor profile of the Reapers and Ghost peppers.

The test batches of this sauce were brutal (too put it lightly). When cooking this sauce we found out the hard way that we needed respirators and damn good ventilation. With burning eyes and nostrils we had made the perfect superhot sauce.
