15,000 to 35,000 SHUs

Since we use fresh peppers in all of our sauces the heat range will vary but usually sits in the middle of the range (20,000~SHUs). The scoville units will change based on several reasons. You can read more about it in our blog post here. 

Big Red One arrived late to the party but it was for good reason. Similar to Mean Green & Tango Mango there was a long period of trail and error getting this sauce just right. But with the lessons learned from our first two sauces we got it perfect in "only" 4 months. 

Big Red One is a reference to the 1st Infantry Division of the United States Army. They were officially nicknamed "The Big Red One" after its shoulder patch.

Launching the sauce on May 8th 2020 on Victory of Europe day only seemed fitting for one of the most instrumental units in WWII.

Launching later than it counter parts, Big Red One, has quickly caught up in popularity as being most people's go to sauce.
